My name is Earle Krunek and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and Pocket Lake Outfitters.
By providing you with some details I hope to give you confidence in booking your next hunting adventure with Pocket Lake Outfitters in McCreary Manitoba.
McCreary Manitoba is located at the eastern entrance to Riding National Park about 150 miles
northwest of Winnipeg. About 50% of the surrounding area has been cleared for farming.

The uncleared bush is very thick and wet in many places providing excellent wildlife habitats. There is no shortage of areas to hunt for trophy animals, and quality guides are readily available to ensure your success and safety. Countless hours are spent walking through the bush, baiting and scouting animals or dealing with land owners.
Manitoba has 50% of colour phase bears (Blonde, Brown and Cinnamon.)
I am a full time outfitter and taxidermist. I have hunted for 40 years and been guiding for about 20 years. In my experience, I have come to realize bigger is not always better, so we currently run a smaller operation leaving plenty of room for hunters to stretch out. I love what I do and my clients leave as friends. I like to provide that personal touch and attention that you will require when hunting trophy animals. It's the only way I know how to be a successful outfitter. I believe in quality and ethnical hunts, and I strive to provide you with the best hunting adventure possible.
Over the years I have come to believe in two things.

Our other Guide is Orest. Orest was born and raised in Glenella, Manitoba. He is an avid Hunter and outdoorsman and he has the experience and energy to make your hunt a success, because your success is our success. We are proud to have people like Orest on our team.
Roxane is also an active member of our team from providing 3 home cooked meals a day to skinning the trophies and helping with the finished taxidermy products. She also helps baiting, and is willing to help wherever help is needed. Roxane will make sure you never leave hungry, there is always an abundance of food on the table. Big meals and baked goods are a regular part of your hunt.
